This screams out shady customer acquisition tactics to me.
If you’re sure to have produced a quality product that will provide value to the target market, then why not put it out there and let it serve the purpose it’s meant to, and let its quality out-class the growing competition [which you seem to be factoring out of the equation here].
How many customers do you really think you will gain by asking everyone to go through that unnecessary back and forth?

HTML to WordPress conversion is available for $50 and it has basic compatibility with Woocommerce. If you need to build complex shop some slight tuning may be required.
